Sarah Sanders Blames Obama for White House Troubles…Then Gets Nailed in Public by ABC Reporter

In a press briefing in the White House on Tuesday, compulsive liar and White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was shut down after she lied that ex-President Barack Obama is at fault for Russia’s interference in U.S. elections.

Sanders was questioned about why Trump has failed to authorize the National Security Agency or the U.S. Cyber Command to prevent Russian interference in the coming 2018 midterm elections.

ABC’s Jonathan Karl told Sanders that Admiral Mike Rogers, who is the head of both the NSA and U.S. Cyber Command, told Senators that he hadn’t gotten authorizations from Trump to fight Russian attacks at their source.

“We are looking at a variety of different ways,” Sanders lied.

“But Admiral Rogers is the one that would have the agency that could actually go and confront the Russian intrusion at the source,” Karl shot back. “And he hasn’t been given the authority. In fact, he says the Russians haven’t paid a sufficient price to make them change their behavior.”

“All he needs is a presidential directive, the authority,” said the ABC correspondent before he was rudely interrupted by Sanders.

“I disagree with the premise of the question,” she said in a pitiful attempt at deceit. “It’s not just one individual.”

“He’s in charge of Cyber Command!” Karl insisted. “Why not give him the authority?”

“Nobody is denying him the authority!” Sanders lied. “We’re looking at a number of different ways that we can put pressure [on the Russians]. This president… has been much tougher on Russia than his predecessor. Let’s not forget that this happened under Obama. This didn’t happen under President Trump. If you want to blame somebody on past problems then you need to look at the Obama administration.”

“This is not about the past!” Karl replied. “This is about preventing intrusion in the next election. He says he needs the authority and hasn’t been given it.”

“I can’t speak to that,” Sanders said, clearly confusing “can’t” with “won’t, because I do nothing useful”.
