White House press secretary and compulsive liar Sarah Huckabee Sanders had an embarrassing meltdown as she locked horns with ABC News chief White House correspondent Jonathan Karl on Tuesday regarding President Trump’s lies that the Russia probe is to blame for last week’s horrifying school shooting that killed 17 people in Parkland, Florida.
“The president hasn’t said that Russia didn’t meddle. What he’s saying is it didn’t have an impact, and it certainly wasn’t with help from the Trump campaign. It’s very clear that Russia meddled in the election,” Sanders stated during a press briefing.
Karl wouldn’t let Sanders get off that easy, asking if President Donald Trump really believed — as he tweeted on the weekend — that the FBI didn’t stop a school shooting in Florida just because it was too busy with investigation the Trump campaign’s treasonous collusion with Russia in the 2016 election.
Sanders lied that was not what Donald Trump thought.
“Did he mistweet?” Karl retorted.
“I think he’s making the point that we would like our FBI agencies to not be focused on something that is clearly a hoax,” Sanders lied.
Sanders then lied that Trump “has been tougher on Russia than Obama was in eight years combined.”
