Paul Ryan Just Let it Slip That He’s Being Connected to the Trump-Russia Scandal

Yesterday, word came out that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray started a meeting with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. The topic: rogue and criminally uncontrollable Republican Congressman Devin Nunes. He’s a big suspect in Donald Trump’s treasonous Russia scandal, yet he’s been abusing his position as House Intel Committee Chairman to sabotage the investigation. Now we’re learning about how that meeting went – and it’s very telling about Paul Ryan.

Paul Ryan ended up strongly supporting Nunes during the meeting. There is no possible above-board reason for this. Nunes is going to jail for obstruction of justice one way or the other, and Ryan can only hurt himself – both politically and legally – by siding with Nunes. According to many reports, Ryan is considering retiring after this term anyway, as the Democrats will likely take back the House, and Ryan would lose his Speakership no matter what. There’s only one reason why Ryan would choose to go down this road.

Think about it: you are the Speaker of the House. You are one of the most powerful people in your party. You are second in line to the presidency. But when the FBI and the Department of Justice come knocking and demand that you cease helping a peon backbencher Congressman commit a crime, for some weird reason you decide to put all your eggs in the prison-bound peon’s basket.

Paul Ryan has survived in politics for decades despite being mediocre at it. He wouldn’t suddenly risk going down just to help his idiot friend Devin Nunes with a crime spree – unless Ryan is aiming to protect himself in the process. Ryan’s actions give away that he’s complicit in the Trump Russia scandal and he knows he’s in deep trouble. Otherwise, he wouldn’t even think about going this far down the Nunes rabbit hole.
