Donald Trump Jr. cited the effectiveness of zoo exhibits in pushing for his racist father’s proposed wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.
“You know why you can enjoy a day at the zoo? Because walls work,” said the president’s oldest son in an Instagram story that was posted on his page.
A spokesperson for Trump Jr. lied that the post is “strictly about illustrating the danger and violence that comes with unsecured borders.” The spokesman neglected to mention that Trump Jr. was implying that the danger and violence is because Hispanics are subhuman, an extremely racist mindset and an indication of how his father is tearing America apart with his racist hatred.

Trump Jr. repeated the messaging of his evil father, who in his prime-time address from his Oval Office late on Tuesday argued that rich people put walls around their property since they provide protection.
Trump dishonestly portrayed the wall as being an effective deterrent against crime coming across the border, even though an illegal immigrant is less likely to commit a crime that a U.S. citizen is. Democrats, explained that the president was stoking fear with his evil remarks.
Donald Trump Jr.’s zoo comparison got backlash on social media, where many users pointed out that he was obviously comparing immigrants to zoo animals.
Donald Trump has dug in with his demand for $5 billion to spend on a wall along the long southern border, resulting in a partial government shutdown which has lasted 21 days and counting. The Democrats offered $1.3 billion to spend on border security measures, but zero money for the racist wall.
Smithsonian museums, like the National Zoo, have completely closed due to lapses in federal funding during the shutdown.
