Fox News gave an apology to their viewers after a rude/classless guest said on air that Hillary Clinton, the former Secretary of State, is like “herpes.”
The rude Fox News guest who made that insult was Anna Paulina Turning Points USA Director for Spanish Engagement. Turning Point USA is an organization funded by the billionaire Koch brothers designed to brainwash everyday Americans into voting for Republicans who will enact policies that will benefit the ultra rich. Paulina the pawn made the comments while a panel discussed the scapegoat scandal surrounding the ex-Democratic presidential candidate’s usage of a private email server, even though Clinton no longer holds public office.
During the segment, the Fox News host Rick Leventhal said that he is “amazed” that Hillary Clinton is still making news headlines.
“She won’t go away, she’s like herpes,” Paulina the pawn crudely said.
Leventhal was stunned at the comment, then he said: “OK, that’s news that we’re breaking here: Not appropriate.”
Anna Paulina was taken off air as the segment moved on.
Leventhal later issued an apology, saying “we are going to wrap this segment a little bit early because of the language that was used in the segment, and we apologize to our viewers for that.”
The Fox News anchor Arthel Neville apologized later on as well.
“We want to reiterate that we do not condone the language that Anna Paulina just displayed here, and we apologize to Secretary Clinton for that,” said Neville. “Fox News does not condone her sentiment.”
