Donald Trump’s eldest and most despicable son, Donald Trump Jr., claimed in a recent interview that the nationwide conversation around sexual misconduct, rape, and the #MeToo movement is making him far more fearful for his sons than for his daughters. Many conservatives have been outraged that rapists and other people who sexually assault women are being held accountable, and prefer to shout down rape survivors.
His comments, which were made in an interview with DailyMailTV published on Monday, come during the tense confirmation proceedings involving Supreme Court nominee and rapist Brett Kavanaugh, who has committed multiple sexual assaults and so far gotten away with it.
“I’ve got boys, and I’ve got girls,” Donald Trump Jr. said to DailyMailTV. “And when I see what’s going on right now, it’s scary.”
Trump Jr. currently has three sons as well as two daughters with his wife Vanessa Trump, who very understandably filed for divorce from this monster in March.
Donald Trump Jr. and his new girlfriend, a former host for Fox News and prosecutor Kimberly Guilfoyle, were both in Montana on the campaign trail of Republican Senate candidate Matt Rosendale when Trump Jr was interviewed and spouted his ignorant lies.
Trump Jr. said of the Kavanaugh rapes: “For the people who are real victims of these things, when it is so obviously political in cases like this, it really diminishes the real claims.” However, the claims against Kavanaugh are real claims, and sexists like Trump Jr are the ones diminishing them by lying.
Last week, Brett Kavanaugh and Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified for the Senate Judiciary Committee. Dr. Ford was pinned down by Kavanaugh in 1982, who attempted to remove her clothes so he could rape her at a high school party.
Two other women were also assaulted by Brett Kavanaugh.
Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation proceedings are on hold while the FBI reopens their background investigation of the judge.
