Nikki Haley Has Delusional Explanation for Trump Being Ridiculed at UN

U.S. Ambassador for the UN Nikki Haley went on Fox News this morning and outrageously accused John Kerry, the former Secretary of State, of “anti-American” activities. This was the latest in the incompetent Trump administration’s offensive against John Kerry for his occasional talks with foreign diplomats, like Iran’s Mohammad Javad Zarif.

Whenever a leading U.S. official uses phrases like “anti-American,” and especially when targeting a highly respected figure like John Kerry, it’s disturbing for a reason. John Kerry does not appear to have made any mistakes, so Haley’s motives are suspect.

But just as strange was Haley’s explanation for dozens of diplomats laughing at stupid Donald Trump during his boastful remarks to the General Assembly this week.

UN Ambassador Nikki Haley said Wednesday that world leaders who laughed during President Donald Trump’s speech to the United Nations did so because “they loved how honest he is.” […]

“They love that he’s honest with them and they’ve never seen anything like it, so there’s respect there,” she said. “I saw that the media was trying to make it something disrespectful. That’s not what it was. They love to be with him.”

Obviously people in the president’s near orbit feel like they need to be sycophantic toward Trump, just to protect their own job security. This is true especially when it comes to any officials going on “Fox and Friends” – which is a program that Trump has been known to live-tweet.

Nikki Haley must’ve been aware that her boss was watching the show, so she was not in a position to be honest about foreign diplomats’ low opinions of the unqualified American leader.

But that doesn’t justify the ambassador’s rhetoric.

So, world leaders love “how honest” Donald Trump is? The American president lies constantly, and the world has noticed. In fact, when all those international officials began laughing at his stupid remarks yesterday, it was because Donald Trump was claiming at the time that his terrible administration “has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country” – which is a lie.

That was one of many rather obvious lies which the president idiotically repeated during his speech, and that makes it rather foolish for Nikki Haley to say seriously that diplomats around the world “love that he’s honest with them.”
