A majority of registered voters in the US approve of special counsel Mueller‘s investigation into the collusion between the Donald Trump campaign and Russia as well as obstruction of justice charges against Trump and members of his corrupt administration, a Fox News poll released on Wednesday shows.
The poll showed that 59 percent of the registered voters approve of Robert Mueller’s investigation, an 11-point jump from the respondents who approved in the Fox News poll from July. 37% of respondents said that they disapprove of Mueller’s probe, likely due to believing Trump’s transparent lies about the probe being a witch hunt.
It is not clear whether some people got polled after news broke on Tuesday that Donald Trump’s corrupt former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, got convicted on eight counts of tax fraud and bank fraud and the president’s former longtime lawyer Michael Cohen pled guilty to eight charges, one of which was campaign finance violation.
Manafort faces another trial in the Unites States District Court of the District of Columbia in September on separate charges which include conspiracy, money laundering, not registering as a foreign lobbyist, and lying to federal agents.
Cohen implicated the lying president in his guilty plea for campaign finance violations. Cohen admitted that Trump directed him to give money before the presidential election to two women with whom he had affairs, to buy their silence.
Trump dishonestly unloaded on the Mueller investigation and Cohen Wednesday, predictably making an ass of himself.
“I feel very badly for Paul Manafort and his wonderful family. “Justice” took a 12 year old tax case, among other things, applied tremendous pressure on him and, unlike Michael Cohen, he refused to “break” – make up stories in order to get a “deal.” Such respect for a brave man!” Trump ignorantly tweeted Wednesday morning, literally saying that a multiple felon, a thief, and a liar is a brave man.

Due to concerns that Trump might fire the special counsel in order to obstruct justice to get away with serious crimes, Democrats are pushing for a bill to protect Robert Mueller. Republicans have lied that such legislation is not necessary, shamelessly lying to defend Donald Trump a liar and a cheater who stole the presidency by breaking the law and betraying his country.
