Yesterday, the story broke that both Ivanka and Melania Trump are caught up in the criminal scandals of Donald Trump. They will both have to testify against Michael Cohen at least, and they could face their own criminal charges at worst. This means Trump’s family is basically destroyed, as the number of Trump family members going down for his scandals has doubled. Donald isn’t doing well after hearing the news.
Supposedly, the President is having a good work day. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, has returned to the White House once again to humor him, and Kim Jong Un, dictator of North Korea, is playing along with the summit charade Trump is throwing (for now). Rather than letting those headlines write themselves, however, Trump can’t control himself. He’s going off the deep end, in fact.
Trump attacked Jeff Flake, a GOP Senator. He then called for Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a Democratic Congresswoman, to be imprisoned. He then ordered Special Counsel Robert Mueller to start investigating former President Obama. After that, he posted a Hillary Clinton video. Then he tweeted this, which literally nobody comprehends: “When will people start saying, ‘thank you, Mr. President, for firing James Comey?’”
This is the typical behavior Donald Trump displays during a storm of negative headlines about his crimes. The news involving Ivanka and Melania Trump isn’t snatching headlines today like it probably should, because so much more is happening today. But the President is showing us that these revelations involving his family are worrying him. He’s probably scared Ivanka will go to prison, and Melania will testify against him.
