Rachel Maddow, host of MSNBC, raked in more viewers Wednesday night than Sean Hannity from Fox News, even though President Trump promoted the latter’s program.
TV Newser reported that Maddow attracted around 3.3 million audience members while Hannity drew in a little over 3 million.
Briefly before the beginning of Hannity’s Wednesday night show, the president pressed his followers to watch.
“Big show tonight on @seanhannity!” Trump tweeted.

Hannity, a friend of the president, reportedly had dinner with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort during the end of last month.
On his program Wednesday, Hannity criticized special counsel Robert Mueller along with other “deep state crime families” for trying to attack Trump.
Enraged by federal raids of the workplace, home, and hotel room of his attorney Michael Cohen, Trump recently renewed his plan to take down the special counsel case about the Russian meddling of the 2016 election.
The agents in question were acting under search warrants obtained by federal prosecutors “in part” due to a referral from Mueller’s office.
Trump cried and called the act a “disgrace” and called the general investigation into Mueller a “witch hunt.”
