Gwen Graham (D), a candidate for Florida governor unveiled a new advertisement on Tuesday criticizing President Trump and will air in the ZIP code surrounding Mar-a-Lago, where Trump has been spending way too many weekends.
In the commercial, Graham labels Donald Trump a “bully” as well as an “embarrassment,” and she promises to stand up to the evil president if she gets elected.
“We have a president that could not be more ill-suited to be president of the United States,” Graham declares in the ad.
“I got into this because I wanted to be someone that bridged that negativity, that bridged that divisiveness. Now we have a president that I believe is actively trying to create this divide,” she explains.
HuffPost reported recently that Graham’s campaign has invested in promoting the ad throughout April on Twitter, and she is making a targeted advertising investment in the ZIP code which Mar-a-Lago falls into.
Donald Trump frequently spends his weekends at the West Palm Beach, Fla., resort, which he owns and spends taxpayer dollars at. He is scheduled to have Japanese Prime Minster Shinzo Abe at the resort later this month.
Gwen Graham, a former U.S. representative, will be running against Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine during an Aug. 28 primary.
